AMC Theaters strike again with a great movie discount ($1 movies) this summer benefitting charity.  Maybe the movie theaters are feeling the economic pinch also.  Or maybe they have realized that people aren't able to pay the high prices for snacks.  But we like to think it's because they care about kids and people that suffer from pulmonary disease.

This summer from June 17th - August 5th, AMC will deliver $1 movies every Wednesday at 10AM.  They are calling it their Summer Movie Camp.  They will donate all of the door and concession proceeds to their two favorite charities:  Variety and the Will Rogers Institute.  

If we had a summer break, we'd be here every week.  Heck, maybe we can play hooky.  All kidding aside, Qmania thinks that it's great that AMC is working to help others; especially kids.  To learn more about their $1 charity campaign and to find locations, go here.
