That's one reason why we're so excited to spread this deal. AMC Theatres has released a printable coupon good for a FREE LARGE Popcorn when you buy a LARGE Fountain Drink. The coupon expires 11/05/09, so you have plenty of time to use it. I think I'll break it in for the new Transformers flick. Much of it was filmed around our office, so it holds a lot of sentimental value.

Back to the deal, you get to use one coupon per ticket purchase. It's valid only at AMC Theatres. and isn't valid with any other offer. No cash value and no resale. Redeemed coupon must be surrendered at concession stand. All normal stuff for an abnormally awesome deal. AMC - thanks! Sweet deal!

AMC Theaters Give HUGE Discount Benefitting Charity: $1 Movies

AMC Theaters strike again with a great movie discount ($1 movies) this summer benefitting charity.  Maybe the movie theaters are feeling the economic pinch also.  Or maybe they have realized that people aren't able to pay the high prices for snacks.  But we like to think it's because they care about kids and people that suffer from pulmonary disease.

This summer from June 17th - August 5th, AMC will deliver $1 movies every Wednesday at 10AM.  They are calling it their Summer Movie Camp.  They will donate all of the door and concession proceeds to their two favorite charities:  Variety and the Will Rogers Institute.  

If we had a summer break, we'd be here every week.  Heck, maybe we can play hooky.  All kidding aside, Qmania thinks that it's great that AMC is working to help others; especially kids.  To learn more about their $1 charity campaign and to find locations, go here.

We know you can't resist popcorn when you go to watch a movie at the theater. Qmania can't either. We were happy to learn that AMC is offering free popcorn at their theaters.
